The enerGfacade family includes the Cradle-to-Cradle® certified, award-winning ThermaShade® sunshades, the industry's only sunshade system with a thermal barrier. When integrated with the curtain wall of a building, ThermaShade sunshades helps reduce solar heat gain and improve the building envelope's thermal performance. ThermaShade sunshade system offers a wide spectrum of design and color options.
YKK AP's new Luminance® light shelf, recognized as a Top 100 Product by Buildings Magazine, substantially improves interior daylight with highly reflective melamine surfaces which diffuse light deeper into interior spaces. Luminance light shelf also flips down effortlessly to make cleaning a snap. Its unique assembly process includes a 90 degree tilt-down panel feature which enables easy maintenance of the light reflecting surface and the glazing above it.
The YOW350T heavy-duty, architectural grade window system includes a triple glazing feature with integral blinds which provides strong solar heat gain control for structures such as office buildings, hospitals, schools and condominiums. When used in combination with standard glazing, the YOW350T provides a U-value of .32 in a fixed window option. YKK AP's MegaTherm® technology is used to provide a thermal break in the YOW350T, which minimizes the flow of thermal energy between conductive materials. This process enables the YOW350T to conserve energy, reduce operating costs and allow the system to have separate interior and exterior finishes to meet design needs.
All enerGfacade products are readily available for standard glass, with the additional choice of XT designated products for high-end glass. The XT series offers a premium level of energy efficiency which greatly exceeds the industry's best performance standards. Additional new enerGfacade products will also be added soon.
