Glazing Contractors: Join us for Quality Assurance Training this February
Who: Are you a glazing contractor responsible for the quality of finished installations?
What: This four-and-a-half day training session includes four full days of instruction as well as a tour of the YKK AP commercial manufacturing plant in Dublin, Ga. The training begins with the fundamentals of different product types, from storefront, entrances and windows to window walls and curtain walls. It then dives into specific product installation instructions, and provides a checklist for inspection and quality assurance.
A hands-on session is a critical part of this training, enabling attendees to assemble and install various products. Attendees walk away with an in-depth understanding of engineering fundamentals, ins and outs of impact glazing, thermal performance, lab and field testing procedures, specific YKK AP manufacturing processes, detailed joint design, sealant selection and proper application of sealants.
When: Sessions will be held on February 19 – 23 and February 26 – March 2.
Cost: Tuition is $375 (travel is out-of-pocket). Attendance is limited.
RSVP: Contact Bart Harrington to sign up.
