YKK AP to Present at CSI North Dakota Red River Valley Chapter Meeting
On February 14, Gary Flemming, Business Manager, Commercial Window Products at YKK AP will discuss how to select the best windows for a new or remodeled school. A careful balance of aesthetics, thermal performance characteristics and structural integrity is critical to making the right decision and ensuring productivity for students and teachers alike. This course will help school building specifiers understand the industry performance standards and how to use them to select the best product for each unique education project.
Walk away with a deep understanding of how to:
- Select the correct AAMA/WDMA/CSA performance rating to ensure structural integrity and air/water performance
- Differentiate various types of windows/options/accessories to enable specifier to optimize energy performance and occupant comfort
- Specify products that minimize various maintenance issues faced in typical school buildings
- Understand various installation and anchoring methods and specify the method that best suits aesthetics, job conditions and structural requirements
